Itinerary  2 days from Fes to Merzouga sahara

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

The journey begins with a two-day trip from Fes to Merzouga in the Sahara.

The adventure starts with a pickup from your hotel in Fes, followed by a journey towards the desert via Ifrane and Midelt.

We depart from Fes in the morning towards the Middle Atlas mountains.

Upon reaching Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland” due to its similar architecture, you will have the chance to break your fast. From there, we continue through cedar forests near the town of Azrou, where you may encounter wild Barbary macaques in their natural habitat.

Next, we pass through Midelt, which is renowned as the capital of apples.

From there, we descend into the striking Ziz Valley, famous for its palm trees. After a scenic drive, we arrive at Merzouga, where camels are already waiting for you.

And offering a magical sunset view.

Dinner is served with live music at your desert camp’s bivouac.

Day 2: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Middle Atlas – Fes

On the second day of your journey start with Wake up early to catch sunrise over the Sahara dunes, followed by breakfast at camp. And you choose Ride camels or transfer by 4×4 back to Merzouga village. After have arrived in the village your journey Begin the return journey north, retracing your route through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountai
